The Makeup Show LA….I Love You!

It was a crazy day!!  I had to pass on the Saturday session (working! working!), and Sunday started super early with a beautiful bride-to-be…but I made it!!  As soon as I walked into The Makeup Show LA, I fell in love.  I was surrounded by tons of Artists, enthusiastic Clients and a boatload of Products!  I was in heaven.
So what did I get?  OF COURSE, one of my first stops was the OCC counter where I got tons of new Liptars and new pigment shadows…they’re gorgeous!  I got a brand new set bag (woohoo!) and some miscellaneous supplies for my Brides.  I picked up a few AJ Crimson lipglosses (so stunning).  I even got pulled as a model for Smashbox…good times!!
One of my favorite things about these events though is the folks.  I met Artists new to the scene and existing Pros!  I was happy to be able to chop it up with Michelle V (Shadow Shields) and AJ Crimson.  It was all candy I tell you….
It was definitely smaller than IMATS, but I love all my new goodies and I had a blast!

It’s coming!!!!  You know me….I’m like a kid in a candy store at these events!  These shows are always great to see what’s new and up coming in the market…play with the new products and be in the know.  Also…love, love, love getting a chance to see all my makeup peeps…always feels like a big reunion of the candy lovers!

Soooooo looking forward to getting a few more Lip Tars from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC)…they have an exclusive set for the show!  What! What!  Also….looking forward to catching up with Mr. AJ Crimson who’s doing fab things with his new product lines.  It’s been a while…haven’t seen him since we did a LeToya Luckett video together (“Not Anymore”).   It’s gonna be a great weekend!  Stay tuned to find out what goodies I come home with.  XOXO, Mo
